Terms & Conditions

Doggy Day Care Kent Limited provide clients with detailed Terms & Conditions prior to  booking. You are deemed to accept these terms when sending your dog to day care or enlisting our pet sitting services.

All 50% deposits are due at the time of booking and are non-refundable.

Your booking can only be confirmed when both the deposit and the signed booking form have been received. We are not able to keep bookings open for more than 7 days so bookings will be released if not received within this time.

You agree that if you cancel within 48 hours of the start date of your booking, you will be liable for the full payment per day.

You agree that should you request your dog to be returned before the end of your booking, you will not be entitled to any refund of any payment.

You agree that if you cancel giving less than 48 hours notice the total fee is due.

You agree that if you cancel your booking you will lose your full deposit.

You will present the dog for day care or pet sitting in a clean and groomed condition and with up to date vaccinations, de-flea/tick and anti-worming treatments.

All dogs must be vaccinated against Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Canine Parvovirus and Para Influenza. Any dog arriving without proof of current vaccination will not be accepted. We reserve the right to refuse admission to any dog showing signs of ill health.

We are unable to accept bookings for a dog subject to the terms of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 or any other dogs with aggression problems towards other dogs and/or people.

Your dog must be non-aggressive. Should it show aggressive tendencies, you accept that he/she will be placed in an alternative dog boarding kennel until your return and that this will be subject to a £20.00 transfer charge.

Should your dog’s behaviour become uncontrollable, destructive or unreasonable, you accept that he/she will be placed in an alternative dog boarding kennel until your return home and that this will be subject to a £20.00 transfer charge. You agree to pay the cost of any damage caused by your dog .

You undertake to make full disclosure of any quality or characteristics which might make your dog not suitable for day care or pet sitting, including, but not limited to behavioural or health problems, anti-social behaviour including aggression, incontinence/lack of housetraining or excessive loud barking/whining. Failure on your part to disclose any matter which might render the dog unsuitable for our services will be deemed a material omission amounting to a fundamental breach of this agreement. You will also be liable for additional costs if we experience difficulties due to failure to disclose in the booking form any matter that would be accepted as reasonably unsuitable for day care, pet sitting or other services.

You will need to supply any necessary dog food and treats for the duration of your dogs stay with us. Alternatively, you agree, upon presentation of a receipt, to refund our costs of purchasing such food.

You agree that if you instruct us to exercise your dog off the lead you accept full liability for any loss or damage caused as a result of your dog being off the lead. In the event that your dog attacks a person or a dog or in the event that he/she is involved in a fight with another dog/person causing any damage or injury you agree to be responsible for any losses incurred including payment of veterinary fees or any medical treatment required.

Reasonable efforts will be made to contact you in the event of an emergency. However, we reserve the right to make decisions regarding your dog’s health provided it is at all times acting in the best interests of the dog and on the advice of a veterinary surgeon. If your dog becomes unwell, has an accident or injures himself/herself or seems to be in any type of pain, we might need to take him/her to a veterinary surgeon and you agree to be responsible for payment of all the veterinarian fees incurred. We will endeavour to make contact with you or your emergency contact, but this may not always be possible.

Dogs are sent to day care entirely at the owners own risk.

No responsibility can be taken for owners bedding/toys left in our care.

Female dogs who come into season will not be able to be walked when they attend Doggy Day Care for the duration of their season. We reserve the right to refuse a female dog in season to day care at our discretion. A female dog in season, sent to day care is entirely at the owners own risk.

All male dogs over the age of 6 months must be neutered. We reserve the right to refuse day care or pet sitting services to entire male dogs.

If no payment is received Doggy Day Care Kent reserve the right to refuse your dog and will contact you to inform you of this.

Your Statutory rights are not affected.
